Abstract
The electroelastic field arising in a compound cylinder in a state of antiplane deformation is investigated. The cylinder consists of two piezoelectric cylinder sectors glued with each other on the common part of their lateral surfaces. The materials of the component parts are assumed to be piezoelectrics of the hexagonal symmetry of class 6 mm with diverse physical properties.
The formulae for the components of the electrostatic field intensity vector and for the components of the mechanical stress tensor are obtained. On the basis of these formulae the electroelastic field in the vicinity of the angular point of the cylinder cross section contour is investigated when this point is on the division line.
