Emerging Media (ISSN 2752-3543; EISSN 2752-3551) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal jointly published by the School of Media and Communication at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and SAGE Publishing. Officially launched in September 2023, the journal is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). With an emphasis on diversity, reflexivity, and dialogue, Emerging Media provides a platform that supports diversified perspectives and fosters critical engagement with the global implications of emerging media technologies. The journal publishes four issues per year and welcomes submissions in the form of colloquium, research notes, original research articles, and book reviews.
