It is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to serving as a pivotal platform for scholarly investigations, discussions, and insights into ethical and social dimensions that intersect with forensic medicine. Articles are freely accessible online in perpetuity under a Creative Commons license . The Journal was launched in 1978 and has been publishing for over four decades. It is published quarterly, and each article accepted after peer review is made freely available online immediately upon publication under OnlineFirst model. Case series, research brief, short communication, book reviews and letters to the Editor are also accepted along with original research articles, review papers and case reports.
