This article draws upon insights from Gary S. Gregg to sketch an outline of periods of psychological development in one MENA (Middle East North Africa) society, ancient Israel, fleshing it out with select examples from the Bible. Cross-cultural psychology is the most appropriate discipline for pursuing this project. Six stages from infancy to adulthood are investigated constituting a first step in developing a suitable model for similar future research.
