Abstract
In the fast-paced world of TikTok, travel influencers craft immersive experiences that captivate followers and inspire travel intentions. This study explores how an influencer's persona—through interaction, attractiveness, and telepresence—forms emotional connections with viewers, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community. Telepresence enhances the viewer's sense of being in a destination, while shared identity with LGBTQ+ influencers deepens the bond, though social presence alone may not drive action. These findings contribute to digital influence understanding and offer guidance for travel marketing, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and representation in fostering genuine connections and travel intentions.
