Lipophilic exudates of one species each of Chamaebatiaria and Elsholtzia, two species of Silphium and four Dodonaea species were analyzed for flavonoid aglycones. In addition to a number of well-known and widely distributed flavonoids, several very rare and one novel natural flavonol were isolated and identified. 1H and 13C NMR data of four flavanones and two flavones are reported.
