Abstract
This research undertakes a systematic exploration of the interplay between employee engagement, retention strategies and training and development programmes, with a specific focus on elucidating their collective impact on organisational growth and success. A comprehensive synthesis of extant scholarly literature was conducted, utilising Litmap software, within the rigorous methodological framework of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), to provide a robust foundation for the analysis. The present research emphasises the strategic significance of employee engagement as a critical determinant of high-performance within organisational contexts. The cultivation of a positive and engaging workplace culture is posited as a mechanism for significantly enhancing. The study also proposes future research directions to address identified research gaps and advance a more nuanced and comprehensive understanding of the phenomena studied.
