This study addresses the design and development of the Kansei retrieval system. It is a personalized system that retrieves multimedia contents, such as image or video, suitable for individual subjective criteria from a database or web. The Kansei retrieval system has received much attention recently. However, development of the system is ad hoc, because systematic design methodology of the system is scarce. This paper proposes the Kansei framework diagram as a conceptual modelling for designing the system as well as the software platform for developing the system. The proposed conceptual modelling makes the design process of the system clear, and the proposed software platform reduces programming steps and the development period for the system.
