Abstract
Nobel type of micro magnetic fluid actuator is proposed. The micro actuator is composed of a small NdFeB magnet and kerosene-based magnetic fluid HC-50. Driving principle of the actuator is characterized by wireless operation with the alternating magnetic field. The actuator shows the metronomic motion. Frequency characteristics of the metronomic motion of the actuator are examined using a high speed video camera system.
