Abstract
The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) problem is an effective tool for translating the customer’s voice into product characteristics, which reduces production costs and improves customer satisfaction. The purpose of this paper is to put forward a new similarity measure based on the concept of interval neutrosophic sets and propose a novel decision making model that combines QFD and similarity measure to evaluate and select market segments. The interval neutrosophic set is used to express the importance of criteria WHATs, technical characteristics HOWs, correlations of WHATs and HOWs and the aggregated rating of each market segment.
